application such as NetVu ObserVer.
The MPEG options are associated with the Resolution alias for High, Medium and Low options.

Function Description
View Prole Remote viewing is possible by using a NetVu Connected
application such as NetVu ObserVer. Select the MPEG prole
that will be associated when the High, Medium or Low options are
selected in the viewing application. This determines the size of the
network link established between the PC running the application
and the DVR. This option is useful in systems where bandwidth
is an issue allowing low bit rate MPEG images to be transmitted
across the network while still recording high quality JPEG images.
MPEG4 Prole Select the MPEG4 prole to be associated with the high, medium
and low options. The options in the list correspond with the
settings congured previously.
Selecting the Prole for Each Camera
All Cameras that have been enabled for Prole Recording can now be allocated the required Prole.
13. Enter the number of predicted 5 second events per hour for the system.
14. From the drop down list select the Prole for each of the cameras. The options are as
congured previously and are twelve JPEG and twelve MPEG4.
15. If schedule is enabled select the prole for Day, Night and Weekend mode.
16. Select the number of pre alarm pictures that will be stored along with the event images.
17. Enter the pre alarm record rate.
18. Save settings.
Note: Proles can be copied and pasted to ease conguration. Use the copy button on the
required camera settings and paste these to the other cameras.
